ABOUT INTERNSHIP:

Seeking a RESEARCH INTERN  to join our best and our brightest. He or she will help a PR company that serves female business owners, thought leaders and authors. During the fall 2016 internship, he or she will use his or her skills to seek out and learn about future clients! 

We’re looking for a great storyteller who can think outside the box, organize and summarize information, and have a knack for learning more! Must be able to work in New York City.

COMPENSATION:

This is an unpaid internship available for college credit at approximately 10 hours weekly.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Impeccably detail oriented and entrepreneurial (self-starter.) Also must be willing to learn new workflow programs. (Asana and Slack, along with the basics of Word, Excel, Google Drive.) Previous experience in startup environments is a plus.

PERKS: 

This RESEARCH INTERN will learn more about the business of PR and help bring all the projects to life through their internship. This is not for the candidate who just wants to fetch coffee; for the person who loves serving women, learning their story and following through on making the connection!

DUTIES:

→ Seek out possible new clients for Appleseed through online research or events

→ Seek out possible partners for projects, venues and future events

→ Research and fact finding/fact checking articles

→ Copy editing of articles and digital content

→ Summarizing start-up stories and company values

→ Coordinating and organizing team workflow

→ Guided internship project of their choice, if desired.

Do you love graphic design?

Can’t get off photoshop, illustrator, behance and lynda? We want you!

Seeking a graphic designer to join our best and our brightest. He or she will help a PR company that serves female business owners, thought leaders and authors. During the fall 2016 internship, he or she will assist in expanding the brand visually, creating collaterals and bringing the team’s vision to life.

We are looking for someone with a love for good design. Photography, calligraphy and watercolor skills are a plus. 

COMPENSATION:

This is an unpaid internship available for college credit at approximately 10 hours weekly.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must have experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, and be really good at both taking direction while lending creativity to a project with precision, attention to detail, and efficiency. Impeccably detail oriented and entrepreneurial (self-starter.)

This creative genius will learn more about the business of PR and make a mark on the brand of Appleseed Communications through their internship. This is not for the candidate who just wants to fetch coffee; for the special passionate person who can see beyond the possibilities of how stories, ideas and information can be brought to life through design.

→ Designing on-brand materials and curating content that serve client needs.

→ Expanding the brand and furthering the company’s vision as we build new campaigns. 

→ Organizing information and ensuring that its distribution is ready for the world.

ABOUT INTERNSHIP: 

Do you have an eye for detail? Are you the first one to spot an error? Does every little thing matter? If it does, we want you! 

Seeking a DETAIL DIVA to join our best and our brightest. He or she will help a PR company that serves female business owners, thought leaders and authors. During the fall 2016 internship, he or she will use his or her skills to lock down and fine tune all of our most important projects! 

We’re looking for a team player who can edit copy, handle coordinating, scheduling and administrative tasks. We need someone who has an eye for spotting the not. Must be able to work in New York City.

This is an unpaid internship available for college credit at approximately 10 hours weekly.

→ Copy editing the drafts for an upcoming book

→ Research and fact finding/fact checking for articles

→ Conduct administrative duties, including payment follow up, setting up calls, and following up on outreach e-mails

→ Coordinating and organizing team workflow

→ Scheduling and calendaring various meetings, coffee dates, phone calls and events

→ Guided internship project of their choice, if desired.

Seeking a social media master to join our best and our brightest. He or she will help a PR company that serves female business owners, thought leaders and authors. During the fall 2016 internship, he or she will assist in creating content, planning social media strategies, and jumpstarting our newest social media channel.

We are looking for someone with an eye and love for mood boards, photography, patterns, and over-all kick-ass visual aesthetic. He or she will be in charge of curating content, planning art direction and managing the various social media channels (especially Instagram for various brands!)

COMPENSATION:

This is an unpaid internship available for college credit at approximately 10 hours weekly.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must have experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, and be really good at both taking direction while lending creativity to a project with precision, attention to detail, and efficiency. Impeccably detail oriented and entrepreneurial (self-starter.) Previous experience in editing, media, calligraphy, or startup environments is a plus.

This creative genius will learn more about social media strategy, the business of PR and branding and execution through their internship. This is not for the candidate who just wants to fetch coffee; for the special passionate person who thrives in wearing a lot of hats and having involvement in many various facets all at once. May work remotely.

DUTIES:

→ Streamlining company workflow by designing on-brand materials and curating content that serve client needs.

→ Managing and schedule social media for multiple social media accounts under the direct supervision of senior staff.

→ Conduct administrative duties, including payment follow up, setting up calls, and following up on outreach e-mails.

→ Research relevant awards, organizations, client, speaking, and influencer leads to assist with company growth.

→ Guided internship PR/ social media project of their choice, if desired.
