OUR WORK IS LOVE-INFUSED AND SO ARE THESE WORDS....
Former editor-in-chief of Seventeen Magazine
Ashley Crouch is a powerful advocate for big ideas and thought-leaders. She inherently knows how to leverage and amplify a story so that it reaches the people who need it the most. Her greatest skill is empathy—It’s a powerful tool for her client and for the audience.
Ashley Crouch was an indispensable contributor to furthering the mission and vision of Verily Magazine, an alternative and authentically positive women’s fashion and lifestyle publication.
As the PR and Social Media Manager, Ashley perfectly married authenticity and savvy when it came to making personal connections and creating relationships that were truly meaningful, whether with individuals, brands, news outlets and more. Ashley developed and crafted a consistent Verily voice through marketing campaigns and across social media platforms, while simultaneously learning and improving her effort & effectiveness.
Through Ashley, the message of Verily was able to reach hundreds of thousands of unique viewers through collaborations, features, events, and interviews with New York Post, CBS New York, The Huffington Post, The Queen Latifah Show, and a week long programming on SiriusXM, to name a few.
Appleseed and I worked together during the launch and publication of my groundbreaking book, “Get Big Things Done: The Power of Connectional Intelligence.” Ashley was pivotal in helping with the success of the book, such as #1 Bestseller by CEO Read and #1 on What Corporate America is Reading, and #23 on Amazon.
Together, we hosted a powerful launch party in New York City with Levo League and Deloitte that was called their “biggest event of all time” and was requested again in San Francisco.
Ashley worked with me to craft my talking points, clarify branding, pitching, and press meet-ups around the launch. Because of our training, I was confident and punchy in my meetings with Business Insider, during the interview for the Fast Company feature, and securing a 15 minute press segment on Huffington Post Live. She trained me on live-tweeting during my speaking engagements with IBM, Social Media Week, and SXSW and a twitter chat with millennials influencer, Chelsea Krost, which reached almost 1 million people.
Ashley Crouch is an authentic, hard-working, and talented PR professional whose passion for storytelling helps women amplify their message and break through boundaries to create a better world.
As a startup, it was key for us to work with someone in PR who not only had the outreach and experience but also believed in our vision.
Appleseed took the time to understand what we wanted to achieve, and how that aligned with our PR goals. They worked with our startup budget and our priorities to craft a plan for us that took our new bridal collection’s launch to the next level.
Ashley and Heather went above and beyond and never made us feel like just another client. Cannot recommend them enough! Working with Appleseed was such a wonderful experience and they went beyond what we could have even imagined.
Ashley has a wonderful manner and incredible precision with her listening skills. She helped to crystallize the many thoughts swarming through my head as I pivot from a corporate career to creating the consulting enterprise of my dreams. She has given me a sounding board and structure that will help me to develop my brand and to articulate my ideal targets for partners and clients.
Ms. Crouch was hired to edit, format and craft lines for our social media feeds, both Twitter and Facebook and she did so for a period of about 18 months until internal staffing changes mandated the end of the relationship. Ms. Crouch was efficient, responsible, and conscientious. She worked well with our editorial team even though she worked remotely and was eager to make additional contributions to the team. She was an effective and responsible contributor who made her deadlines and worked well with the team. Our social media feeds benefited from her contributions, experience, and skills. We would recommend her to other companies.
